ROCK STEADY bOXING

Fight back against parkinson's

At the Parkinson’s Exercise and Wellness Center, our trainers are certified in Rock Steady Boxing, an internationally-practiced exercise program tailored for people with Parkinson’s Disease. Rock Steady Boxing, the first boxing program of its kind in the country, was founded in 2006 by former Marion County (Indiana) Prosecutor, Scott C. Newman, who is living with Parkinson’s.

Rock Steady classes draw from boxing drills to provide our fighters with rigorous exercise that address their symptoms. This includes conditioning them for balance, coordination, endurance, and stability to defend against Parkinson’s Disease.
