Spinal Roll & Release incorporates rolling techniques to release tension throughout the body. By using props, this class targets large muscle groups and the pain common in people with Parkinson's Disease. Stooped posture and forward head are also common symptoms of Parkinson's Disease, and coach Lacey has designed this class to specifically improve these conditions for our fighters.
By opening up the back and hips, our fighters can align the spine and improve posture and gait. Coach Lacey also utilizes breath and core work to relieve the back, ribs, and spine. Spinal Roll & Release integrates methods from many practices, including Pilates, yoga, and Kinesiology to ease pressure and rigidity.
